ADVANCED PLACEMENT (AP) EXAMS: Regular AP exams ended on Friday, May 18th. Late exams will be given from Wednesday, May 23rd through Friday, May 25th. Students who have an outside conflict or miss an exam due to illness must pick up a Conflict or Illness form in the College and Career Center. Forms must be signed by the appropriate parties and turned in to Mrs. Hargesheimer no later than Friday MORNING, May 18th. If we don’t get a form, we won’t be able to order a late exam for you. (If you’ve already received a notice giving you the details for late testing, no need to do anything further.)
Students must report for morning exams by 7:45am and for afternoon exams by 11:45am. Exams will begin promptly at 8:00am and 12:00 Noon, and latecomers will not be allowed to test. In order to give our students the opportunity to eat lunch on exam days, students who test in the morning will be excused from their Early Bird thru Period 5 classes. Students who test in the afternoon will be excused from their Period 4 thru Period 8 classes.
Testing students may not talk to teachers or use cell phones during their exam breaks. Dress in layers. If you have two exams on the same day, bring a lunch and drink in case you don’t have time to eat in the Cafeteria between exams.
Students should bring: two or three sharpened No. 2 pencils (no automatic pencils!!); a pen with black or dark blue ink; up to 2 graphing calculators and extra batteries for the Statistics exam and a photo ID. Do NOT bring cell phones, electronic devices or backpacks—leave them in your locker. Don’t wear watches with alarms that may beep during testing. Do not bring food and drinks to the testing room.
Good luck to our AP students!
